Full course description

On Friday, May 7, 2021, Anderson University and AnMed Health will partner to provide a virtual professional development workshop for the Upstate using community. This unique and fully online experience is designed to support nurses in the development and practice of coping skills necessary to face challenges to their work-life balance and professional practice during the Covid crisis. (A link and instructions will be emailed to participants the day prior to the Workshop.)

Participants will engage in both live and recorded sessions led by mental health and wellness faculty in the best practice of processing grief in professional practice. Workshop participants will learn from expert faculty, hospital administrators, and professional colleagues through a dialog that defines grief, reactions and stages of grief, and strategies developed during this high-stress period of health care and nursing.
